“ Copelands is a longstanding New Orleans Original that Ive been coming to for decades!! Al Copeland gave the World Popeyes and this joint right here too!! It was the place to bring your date for Prom Night when we were teenagers in the 1980s so theres a bit of nostalgia that runs through when we eat here again. The Eggplant Pirogue will always be one of my favorite dishes and my go to. The Crawfish bread is serious too!! Sadly missed, is the Onion Mum with The Rosette Sauce Please bring it back yall!! Well teach the rest of America how to eat it like we do in the greater New Orleans area!! And during Mardi Gras dont pass up the Cheesecake King Cake!! Damn that was good!! ”
